Luke 15: 2 Bible
All the tax collectors and sinners came to Jesus to hear him.
And the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying: This man receives sinners, and he is with them.
Parable of the lost sheep. (Matthew 18: 12-14) Bible
Then he told them this parable, saying:
What man among you, who has a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the desert and chases the one that was lost until he finds it?
And when he finds it, he puts it on his shoulders rejoicing;
And when he gets home, he gathers his friends and neighbors, saying: Rejoice with me, because I found my lost sheep.
I tell you that in this way we will have more joy in heaven for a sinner who repents than for ninety-nine righteous people who do not need repentance.
Grief for the lost sheep.
First of all it refers to man among men. That first reacts and then analyzes. The man leaves 99 sheep unsafe in the desert, but out of concern to find that lost sheep. If a man can worry and cry for someone, imagine Jesus and God.
A man who has strayed from the right path, a man lost in sin. That when the time comes you have to suffer, because sin causes suffering, in this life and much later. That is the affliction of a father, knowing that his son suffers and that he will suffer more.
The joy of finding the lost sheep.
The joy of having 99 healthy and safe sheep is less than the joy of finding that lost sheep.
Why is this so …?
Because the 99 sheep are protected, they are on the right track, they have not suffered, they are not alone, apart from having one another, they have the good shepherd, they do not suffer nor will they suffer any torment. They are saved under the grace of God.
This parable is similar to the parable of the prodigal son: Read.
JESUS came into the world as a man.
Really didn’t die
JESUS CHRIST is life,
Everything lives in it forever
I will not fall again, he is my strength
There’s only one way and it’s him
Then i will always live
Death will never touch me again!
